Sarah Souther is a poet who lives in Appalachia with her two children. She writes most days with a group of women who are devoted to embodiment and love. She survived two rounds with tumors and a life threatening illness while studying Poetry and Sociology at Auburn. She then moved to Austin where she lived in a commune and worked creatively with community organizers. She learned her voice could keep people cohesive and optimistic towards a goal. The goal of her debut book of poems is to make you feel held when you’re walking through something unimaginable.
