Nina Lior is a poet who lost her craft somewhere along the path of life/conformity/motherhood. Fortunately she rediscovered her bones thanks to the Poems and Power community, and has been rebuilding a life structured around her love of poetry and connecting with other women as they pass through the stages of life together.

Nina currently lives in Maryland, just outside of DC, in the crumbling experiment known as the United States of America. She enjoyed a successful career in fundraising at the American Red Cross national headquarters before choosing to stay home with her children. She submatriculated at The University of Pennsylvania, achieving both a BA and MA in 2007, and graduated cum laude. She loves to listen to live music, travel, and go on adventures with her husband and three kids.
